Glorifying God through praise & worship;

Relating as the family of God;

In line with the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:35-40) & the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20), our mission can easily be remembered by the word GREAT.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that God exists and is pleased with all who draw near by faith. We worship the one holy and loving God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit eternally. God has created all things visible and invisible, has brought salvation and new life to humanity through Jesus Christ, and continues to sustain the church an all things until the end of the age.  We are a congregation of Mennonite Church USA

OUR STORY

We are a congregation of Mennonite Church USA.

 In the late 1800's and early 1900's Low German Mennonites arrived in Kansas, mostly emigrating from the Molotschna Colony in South Russia. Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church (rural Inman) organized in 1874 and was the "mother" church of several area churches. Buhler Mennonite Church was organized when Hoffnungsau built a worship center for Buhler area members. As communities grew and needs changed the Buhler Mennonite Church and Inman Mennonite Church incorporated as independent churches within the Western District Conference (1920's). BMC grew steadily and in 2020 it will celebrate 100 years of ministry. It enjoys a vibrant worship and fellowship setting and is committed to Christian service across the street and around the world. In 2000 Hebron Mennonite Church (Buhler) merged with BMC.
